9 Days Tour to Kibale, Queen, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Parks

The 9 days safari takes you to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Parks. Kibale National Park is mostly known for its chimp tracking and its home of a lot of primate species. You will still go to Bigodi swamp where you do birding.Queen Elizabeth National Park forms the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. The Park is the home of the famous tree climbing lions, topi, Uganda Kob, hyenas, elephants, baboons, hippos and a lot of primates like Chimpanzees and more. Launch trip will also be done along kazinga channel between Lake Geoge and Edward.BwindiNational Parkis known best for gorillas, these gorillas are interesting to see that will leave you with the best memories ever for a wonderful experience. Trip Itinerary

Day1: Kampala-Kibale National park

Depart from Kampala to kibale National Park, the drive will take around 6-7hours. You will have lunch in Fortpotal. Kibale National park is one of the best tourist destination in Africa particularly Uganda. The Park is located in south Uganda protecting moist ever green rain forest. The park is with in districts of Kaborole and Kamwenge. Kibale has one of the highest concentration of primate in Africa. You will have an overnight at at Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day2: Chimp trekking Tour

After breakfast you will go for chimp trekking, during the trekking you may spot primates like black and white colobus monkeys, Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon depending on whether you are still energetic you will go for a nature walking at Bigodi sanctuary, it has fauna and flora. Overnight at at Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day 3: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National park

After breakfast head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch go for an evening game drive where you will see crater lakes. Queen Elizabeth National park is the most popular tourist destination in Uganda and is one of the oldest national parks in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is located in western Uganda in districts of Kamwenge, Kasese, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 4: Game drive and boat trip on Kazinga Channel

Go in the morning for a game drive in the Park after breakfast, you may see some of the big five; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs, you may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise where you may see crocodiles, Hippoes and a lot of birds. An overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You may either Visit the blue lake or visit the bat cave after breakfast as you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi impenetrable National park is located in East Africa in southern western part of Uganda. Bwindi is located on the Eastern edge of Albertine rift valley along the Democratic Republic of Congo which borders next to the Virunga National park. You will spend your night at at Buhoma community Rest camp/ Silver back lodge/ Gorilla forest camp/ Mahogany springs/ Nkuringo Gorilla campsite.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla tracking.

Take an early morning breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for briefing, orientation and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which gorilla group given. The guide will lead you through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given one hour interaction and taking photos. You will have packed lunch ready with you. After tracking depending on your energy you may take a community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have cultural entertainment. You will have a second night at at Buhoma community Rest camp/ Silver back lodge/ Gorilla forest camp/ Mahogany springs/ Nkuringo Gorilla campsite.

Day 7: Leave Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park, this park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of Impala, Zebras, Elands and other ungulates. For bird watchers, this is one of the best places to find the papyrius bush shrike and the African fin foot.

After lunch, go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where the national park derives its name for viewing a variety of water birds as well as water animals, and some game that is usually sighted drinking water on the edge of the lake.

Day 8: Explore Lake Mburo National Park

This morning, we shall take a guided nature walk in the park and later return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation as we wait for lunch. After lunch, we shall embark on a game drive through the park in search of plain game like Impala, Elands, Zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds especially the water birds that also dwell in the swamps surrounding Lake Mburo. Overnight at at Mantana Tented Camp /Mburo safari lodge/ Mihingo safari lodge/ Mburo Eagles Nest Camp.

Day 9: Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will have a game drive enroute as we head back to Kampala. We will have a brief stop at the equator for photographs, crafts as well as refreshment and then proceed to Kampala; this journey takes about 4 to 6 hours depending on the number of stops we make.
