Overview

This tour takes you to Murchison Falls, Kibale and Bwindi National Parks. Murchison Falls National Park is the Uganda’s largest National Park, the Park has an interesting activity called the top of the falls where the river Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down. In this wondering experience Hippos, waterbucks and buffaloes are expected to be seen.Yet Kibale National Park is mostly known for its chimp tracking and it isa home of a lot of primate species. You will still go to Bigodi swamp where you will do birding. Still Bwindi is known best for gorillas, these gorillas are interesting to see that will leave you with the best memories ever for a wonderful experience. Other mammals include buffaloes, black-fronted duikers, leopards, bushbucks, forest hogs and elephants.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

From Hotel, drive to Murchison Falls National park, lunch at Masindi. Then drive to the top of the falls. The park is Uganda’s largest National Park which measures about 3840 square kilometres together with Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserve. The vegetation of the park is savannah, riverine forest and wood land. Murchison Falls National Park is mostly known for its wildlife like giraffe, leopards, elephants, lions, Uganda kob and many others. Nocturnal species common in this area are; Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls, and a plethora of spectacular Nightjars, such as Long-tailed and Pennat-winged Nightjar, The mind-blowing Standard-winged Nightjar. Transfer toparaa safari lodge/sambiya River lodge/ Red chilli/ Chobe safari lodge/ Nile safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls

After breakfast go for a game drive where you may see Buffaloes, Uganda kob, Elephants and many others, then return for lunch. After lunch go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you may see lots of hippos, crocodiles, elephants. Then return for an overnight at paraa safari lodge/sambiya River lodge/ Red chilli/ Chobe safari lodge/ Nile safari lodge.

Day 3:From Murchison Falls to Kibale National park

After breakfast head to kibale National park,Kibale National park is one of the best tourist destination in Africa particularly Uganda. The Park is located in south Uganda protecting moist ever green rain forest. The park is with in districts of Kaborole and Kamwenge. Kibale has one of the highest concentration of primate in Africa.You will have an overnight at Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day4: Chimp trekking Tour

After breakfast you will go for chimp trekking, during the trekking you may spot primates like white colobus monkeys, Return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon go a nature walking at Bigodi sanctuary, it has fauna and flora. Overnight at Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel

Day 5:Kibale National Park to Bwindi National Park

Depart from Kampala early in the morning to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla tracking. Bwindi impenetrable National park is located in East Africa in southern western part of Uganda. Bwndi is located on the Eastern edge of Albertine rift valley along the Democratic Republic of Congo which borders next to the Virunga National park. You will spend your night at Buhoma community Rest camp/ Silver back lodge/ Gorilla forest camp/ Mahogany springs/ Nkuringo Gorilla campsite.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla tracking.

Take an early morning breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for briefing, orientation and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which gorilla group given. The guide will lead you through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given one hour interaction and taking photos. You will have packed lunch ready with you. After tracking depending on time you may take a community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have cultural entertainment. You will have a second night at Buhoma community Rest camp/ Silver back lodge/ Gorilla forest camp/ Mahogany springs/ Nkuringo Gorilla campsite.

Day 7: Leave Bwindi National Park for Kampala.

After breakfast, checkout and head to Kampala, you will stop in Mbarara for lunch and at the equator for crafts and photos. Arrive Kampala in the late afternoon.The Safari Price quotations include: Transport with fuel, an English-Speaking driver, Water within the Vehicle, accommodation, park fees, boat fee and all meals.
