Overview

The 7 days safari will take you through Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth and KibaleNational Parks, Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest National Park in Uganda but you may be in position to see a lot of mammals like Zebras, Impala, buffaloes and many species, birding will also be done with in the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park forms the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. The Park is the home of the famous tree climbing lions, topi, Uganda Kob, hyenas, elephants, baboons, hippos and a lot of primates like Chimpanzees and more. Launch trip will also be done along kazinga channel between Lake Geoge and Edward. And Kibale National Parkis mostly known for its chimp tracking and it’s a home of a lot of primate species. You will still go to Bigodi swamp where you do birding. This will be a great experience.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park, this park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of Elanda, Zebras,Impala and other ungulates. This is one of the best placesfor bird watchers to find the African fin foot and papyrius bush shrike.

After lunch, go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where the national park derives its name for viewing a variety of water birds as well as water animals, and some game that is usually sighted drinking water on the edge of the lake. An overnight atatMantana Tented Camp /Mburo safari lodge/ Mihingo safari lodge/ Mburo Eagles Nest Camp.

Day 2: Explore Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast take a guided nature walk in the park and later return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation as we wait for lunch. After lunch, go for a game drive through the park in search of plain game like Impala, Elanda, Zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds especially the water birds that also dwell in the swamps surrounding Lake Mburo. Day 3: Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National park

After breakfast, we shall have a game drive enroute as we head to queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch go for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth where you will see crater lakes.Queen Elizabeth National park is the most popular tourist destination in Uganda and is one of the oldest national parks in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is located in western Uganda in districts of Kamwenge, Kasese, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. The park has Mammals like lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Go in for a game drive in the Park after breakfast where you may see the big five; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican.After lunch go for a boat cruise where you may see crocodiles, Hippos and a lot of water birds. An overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast head to Kibale forest National Park. Kibale National park is one of the best tourist destination in Africa particularly Uganda. The Park is located in south Uganda protecting moist ever green rain forest. The park is with in districts of Kaborole and Kamwenge. Kibale has one of the highest concentration of primate in Africa.You will have an overnight at Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day6: Chimp trekking Tour

After breakfast you will go for chimp trekking, during the trekking you will spot primates like white colobus monkeys, Elephants. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon depending on time go for a nature walking at Bigodi sanctuary, it has fauna and flora. Overnight Ndali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day7: Back to Kampala

After breakfast head to Kampala, stop over at Mbarara for lunch.The Safari Price quotations include: Transport with fuel, an English-Speaking driver, Water within the Vehicle, accommodation, park fees and all meals.
