The 7 days safari takes you to explore Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks, Kibale National Park is mostly known for its chimp tracking and its home of a lot of primate species. You will still go to Bigodi swamp where you do birding.Queen Elizabeth National Park forms the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. The Park is the home of the famous tree climbing lions, topi, Uganda Kob, hyenas, elephants, baboons, hippos and a lot of primates like Chimpanzees and more. Launch trip will also be done along kazinga channel between Lake Geoge and Edward. And Lake Mburo National Park being the smallest National Park in Uganda you may be in position to see a lot of mammals like Zebras, Impala, buffaloes and many species, birding will also be done with in the park.

Trip Itinerary

Day1: Kampala-Kibale National park

Depart from Kampala to kibale National Park, the drive may take around 6-7hours, you will have lunch in Fortpotal. Kibale National park is one of the best tourist destination in Africa particularly Uganda. The Park is located in south Uganda protecting moist ever green rain forest. The park is with in districts of Kaborole and Kamwenge. Kibale has one of the highest concentration of primate in Africa. You will have an overnight atatNdali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day2: Chimp trekking Tour

After breakfast you will go for chimp trekking, during the trekking you may also spot primates like black and white colobus monkeys, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon depending on energy go for a nature walking at Bigodi sanctuary, it has fauna and flora. Overnight atatNdali lodge/ kanyankyu ecological Centre/ Mountain of the moon/ Primate lodge/ Kyaninga lodge/ Fort Motel.

Day 3: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National park

After breakfast proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch go for an evening game drive where you will see crater lakes. Queen Elizabeth National park is the most popular tourist destination in Uganda and is one of the oldest national parks in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National park is located in western Uganda in districts of Kamwenge, Kasese, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Go in for a game drive in the Park after breakfast, you may see the big five; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise where you may see crocodiles, Hippoes and a lot of birds. An overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ jacana safari lodge/ Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ samba safari camp.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National Park, this park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of Impala, Zebras, Elanda and other ungulates. For bird watchers, this is one of the best places to find the papyrius bush shrike and the African fin foot.

After lunch, go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where the national park derives its name for viewing a variety of water birds as well as water animals, and some game that is usually sighted drinking water on the edge of the lake.

Day 6: Explore Lake Mburo National Park

This morning, we shall take a guided nature walk in the park and later return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation as we wait for lunch. After lunch, we shall embark on a game drive through the park in search of plain game like Impala, Elanda, Zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds especially the water birds that also dwell in the swamps surrounding Lake Mburo. Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will have a game drive enroute as we head back to Kampala. We will have a brief stop at the equator for photographs, crafts as well as refreshment and then proceed to Kampala; this journey takes about 4 to 6 hours depending on the number of stops we make.

The Safari Price quotations include: Transport with fuel, an English-Speaking driver, Water within the Vehicle, accommodation, park fees, boat fee and all meals. It however doesn’t include alcoholic drinks, laundry, and any additional personal purchases.
